Dr White is the most caring and empathetic vet that we have ever had! I have been taking my senior dog Chloe here since she was a puppy (2012). My parents have always taken their dogs here and it was an easy choice for us. We were always happy here but when we moved into the city we changed vets to be closer. Needless to say we were back with in a year or so because the other office didn't compare. I hate the drive but it's worth it, and hey, it's only once a year right? Then we got a puppy who is accident prone, a long with our aging dog we are making more and more trips. Yes I think of switching but honestly the care we get here is worth the drive. My younger dog started seeing Dr White and during her annual visit this year we started discussing our senior dogs strange behavior. We made an appointment with Dr White for our senior. We discovered that her pain wasn't as managed as well as we thought and her behavior was changing slowly because of it. We started adding in medicines to help with her arthritis. Dr White cares so much, she is so genuinely concerned about both of our dogs wellbeing both mentally and physically. She always returns our calls, she doesn't call me crazy 🤣. She makes suggestions to holistically help as well as with medication. I swear this protocol is giving new energy to my senior dog and added years to her life! Is it worth the drive? (now every freaking month), heck yes! I would drive double the distance! I can not recommend this animal hospital more. The staff is so friendly and I know that they have my pups best interest at heart every time.

So, so pissed off at this place right now. Been taking my dog there for 13 years. Now that she’s literally on her last legs, it takes way too long to get any sort of medicine. Took hours to get a sedative. Need to sedate her so I can bring her in for some help somewhere. No appointments available. Call back again tomorrow??!!!!! My dog can’t lift herself up right now. She needs help!! Give us 10 mins!! We were loyal for 13 years.

When calling the staff has always been friendly and willing to help but we had a very unfortunate experience with Kathleen Hemler. We have come in to visit her a few times now and she does not allow the pet to warm up to her at all and is very abrasive in how she handled our dog. Just like humans introduce themselves so should humans to animals but she never once extended her hand to let our dog with extreme anxiety (noted in their own notes) sniff her and get comfortable with her. She just goes straight for the muzzle and a tether and does not take any care in the animal relationship or even the human relationship. There is a huge lack of care in her overall approach. She noticed I was upset about the encounter and when I expressed why and how she could fix it she walked out of the room and just said she would get the medicine, no mention of a sorry for her actions or lack there of. Our dog has been to other vets before and never been so scared and shaking like he was with her each time he’s been with her. I would highly recommend against allowing her as your vet. I do want to highlight the vet tech though. Maddie was great, so kind and understanding and seemed to truly understand that for some of us dogs are our children, especially those who cannot have human children so we truly appreciate how she handled the situation although an unfortunate one.

This is the best vet i have ever went to, and I recommend it to everyone. They are so kind, and so good with animals. It’s clearly well ran and all the staff is kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Even the front desk staff is wonderful, it surprises me just how much they know and are able to explain without having to ask a vet. Everyone here is just really good at their jobs. They really go above and beyond to help! They do not extort you and nickle and dime you for every little thing: they’re quite reasonable compared to other vets i’ve been to. They also do amazing with my pets. They’re gentle with them and obviously love animals. My cat used to get scruffed at Banfield and i hated it, i thought it was unnecessary since my car never tried to harm the vet, didn’t use her claws or anything. she would just try to run occasionally while getting poked and prodded. The vet here had no issue or need to scruff my cat. She took time to introduce herself and my cat actually really liked her. She didn’t try to run once during exam and shots time. The vet was so understanding and good with her. 10/10 recommend this place. Cant say enough about how great they are.
